Chess Program Released for Linux and Mac

Sorry to be posting all these stories at once, but I haven't read the chess news in a while, just catching up (been really busy!)

"Today, the world champion chess program Schredder released a version for Mac and Linux. This is important because it is the first time a major software player in the chess world has released a version of its chess engine for Linux and the general public. This is nuts. Two chess players get in a ring, play chess, then put on boxing gloves and punch each other, then go back to chess, and so on. Rounds are 1 and 2 minutes.

The inventor of this sport is also the world champion, figures. I wonder if he's played anyone yet?

NKR Chess Tournament

The unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) is hosting another international chess tournament which has brought together some of the world’s leading chess players and is touted by organizers as the first event of its kind in the South Caucasus.
